SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MASTERS DEGREES 2010/11

The Open Society Foundation, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the University of St Andrews invite applications for scholarships at the University of St Andrews.

The following taught postgraduate programs are available:

* MSc International Strategy and Economics,
* MLitt Middle East and Central Asian Security Studies
* MLitt Peace and Conflict Studies.

Applicants must be nationals of and resident in Indonesia.

Applicants should have outstanding academic qualifications and good English.

Each scholarship provides one year’s tuition fees at the University of St Andrews, a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only), and return air travel from the scholar’s home country.

On completion of the scholarship scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their studies or work there.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 4 February 2010.

Macau

In Macau lodging info I recommend Hotel Ko Wah, the price of rooms with double beds for 1 person 350 HK dollars (about Sunday - Thursday so 300), place is clean, complete bathroom with water heater, air conditioner, TV. Just less less soundproof room, so if my next door neighbor could shout sounded.

 Info penginapan di Macau yang saya rekomendasikan Hotel Ko Wah, harga kamar dengan double bed untuk 1 orang 350 HK dollar (kalau hari Minggu - Kamis jadi 300), Tempatnya bersih, kamar mandi lengkap dengan water heater, AC, TV. Yang kurang hanya kamarnya kurang kedap suara, jadi kalau tetangga sebelah ngobrolnya teriak-teriak bisa kedengaran.

Lokasinya dekat sekali dengan San Va, tapi keadaannya bagai bumi dan langit...hehehe.

Terus kalau dari Macau kita bisa ke Zhuhai, urus visa on arrival, perbatasannya dari Portas do Cerco naik bus dari Almeida Ribiero ini jalan utama di depan Rua da
Felicidade
(lihat aja petunjuk di tempat pembehentian bus, nomor berapa aja yang ke Portas do Cerco/Barrier Gate).

Terus begitu dapet visa, tinggal jalan-jalan di Zhuhai. Soalnya kotanya bagus, makanannya enak.. Tempat tempat yang baik antara lain : Haibin Park dan di dekat situ ada patungnya Zhuhai Fisher Girl.

Tapi kalau memang masih sempat, mendingan bikin visa Chinanya di Jakarta aja, biar tinggal nyebrang gak usah urus-urus visa lagi.
